LEARN FROM AN EXPERT how Yoga can be used to address emotional well-being. This is especially important for those suffering with emotional disturbances like anxiety and depression. While many turn to Yoga for staying toned and flexible, some classes are heated up and amped up. In that case people seeking calm may attend a Hatha Yoga class that aggravates and does not lead to more peace! Learning what kind of yoga fully supports recovery of wellbeing is essential. It also has a scientific base.
Research demonstrates how effective certain yoga practices are for improving mental health and well-being and developing tools for self-regulation. These practices include postures, breathing practices, and meditation. Kristine’s practice is an exceptionally adaptable person-centered approach to yoga practice which may be tailored to clients with differing abilities. It fosters the development of attention and mindfulness, and promotes spiritual development in the context of any belief system.
